The Voice in the One-Way Street
Time went by, and I ran, and I ran again. Circled in a one-way street, before a voice said: You ain't gotta run no more.
Back then I slept on the floor. Shared that floor with a demon of my own design. When it whispered in my ear, I believed every evil it said. And if I didn't listen, it would whip me with a stroke of reality and awareness.
"It was Rorisang, I love you, but you got to wake up."
In my wake, I said I felt tired and hurt one too many times. Ended in a dimension staring back at my reflection.
Seems like these days you ain't got the strength to run anymore. Even if you were to run, where would you run to where you can't find yourself? Just another tired human soul with no direction.
You will sleep by the river just to cleanse. Have you not learned that you ain't got to run no more?
Things are as they should be good and better and they will always be. Said that you have failed a million times before? Go on and fail some more until you learn that it's part of life.
I guess you haven't heard: things will get much better. You will taste victory.
